Captain Quazar is a so-so shooter with a unique isometric view that offers both a unique, visually appealing experience and a frustrating-to-line-up-shots shooting fest. While it seemed to be fairly well-received at the time, I could never really get into it. The main reason is that, although there aren’t, technically, too many awful aspects, there also aren’t many good ones. In fact, aside from some pretty nifty cutscenes, there’s nothing particularly above par, in my opinion. Captain Quazar does what it needs to do to be average and/or passable. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that, either. However, also keep in mind that my opinion on this game seems to be a bit lower than what the average Joe sems to think. If you'd like to play a quirky little shooter with an isometric view that can make shooting things feel like it’s a little more difficult than it should be at times, then Captain Quazar isn't awful—just don’t expect the greatest game ever made when you pop it in to give it a try.

I'm honestly not a huge fan of Crayon Shin-Chan: Puzzle Daimaou no Nazo (which loosely translates to “Crayon Shin-Chan: The Mystery of the Puzzle Demon King,” according to Google Translate). It’s a confusingly-made Puyo Puyo clone. I say it's confusingly made because I had a hard time figuring out if the power-ups I received were due to luck or if I got specific power-ups for matching specific groups together. It's also EXTREMELY slow-paced. I nearly gave up during the first puzzle match - not because I was losing (I stuck with it and won) but because I was just plain getting bored. Perhaps it’s purposely slow so this can be an introduction to puzzle games for very young children? Maybe. Admittedly, I’m not very familiar with Crayon Shin-Chan, but just by appearance, it appears to be aimed towards the young’uns. Anyway, a faster pace, and maybe a higher difficulty might’ve gotten me into this game a little more…but as it is, I found myself wanting to turn this off and start playing Puyo Puyo instead.
