Parker Bros. did a solid job of porting Frogger over to the Atari 2600 with a port that they should have been proud of. However, with the help of the Starpath Supercharger, Starpath was able to "hop" in and make a variation of the game so solid, that it almost negated any need to head to the arcade and plop quarters in at the real Frogger machine. While not perfect, the Official Frogger is about as close to perfect as you can get, on the Atari 2600, to having a perfect port of an arcade game. Taking only a slight hit in terms of animation and graphics, the Official Frogger contains absolutely everything else from the arcade game. All of the enemies, items, and obstacles are here, along with some background tunes to give this game just an extremely polished look and feel. For the time it was released, and the hardware that it was released on, I honestly believe that this is the single best variation of Frogger that you can play - and since you can play this in your underwear, while sitting on the couch at home, I find it even better than the arcade original. And I don't think that I'm alone - compiling the average scores for various Frogger games that I've reviewed on this site so far, this game scores the highest of them all by far. So, it's not just my, personal opinion…a lot of folks seem to be on the same page with the Official Frogger - it's an excellent port and an excellent game.

What a disturbing game. Oink! puts you in the roll of the three little pigs from the fable where the big, bad wolf blows their houses down...Except in Oink!, instead of blowing their houses down, the wolf has a tongue like a frog and uses his tongue to demolish your house one brick at a time...While he does this, you need to try to patch up the holes. If he breaks down enough of the wall with his disturbingly long tongue, the wolf will then try to lasso you with his way-too-long lingua and drag you to your death. Honestly, being French-kissed to death by a wolf sounds like something that Mystique would have put out, not Activision. Overall, Oink! Is a decent game, and not a bad game to pick up if you're looking to expand your Atari 2600 collection, disturbing imagery and all.
