Polarity is kinda like the poor man’s Portal. It’s a first-person puzzle game where you need to change your polarity to pass certain gates, allow you to navigate certain platforms, etc. It’s not awful, honestly. It’s okay for what it is, but I’d consider it just shy of passable. Anyone that has played Portal before will likely draw comparisons almost immediately…and unlike Portal, which oozed personality, Polarity is pretty dull in comparison. Again, it’s not an awful game by any means, and if you enjoy action-based puzzle gameplay, you’ll likely find enough to like here to stick with it to the end, but it’ll also likely remind most players of a much more enjoyable game that they’d rather be playing instead.
