This area highlights the ten games with the best average score and the ten games with the worst average score that I've reviewed on so far on this website. If you read my comments for these games, you may notice that some of them have an icon to the right of the title. These are the site's awards. I give them to the best games, the worst games, and to a select few games that I feel deserve a participation trophy of some kind.
The Gold Medal is given to any game that receives a perfect 10 out of 10 score from me. It's a gold medal with a blue ribbon attached to it. No game is truly perfect, but these games are the best of the best.
The Silver Medal is given to any game that receives a 9.5 out of 10 score from me. It's a silver medal with a red ribbon attached to it.
The Bronze Medal is given to any game that recieves a 9.0 out of 10 score from me. It's a bronze medal with a white ribbon attached to it.
The Ape Award is essentially a participation trophy. If I feel that a game is too flawed to give it a high enough of a score to recieve the above awards, but if I really enjoyed playing it anyway, then it will receive the Ape Award. It's a fancy-looking bowling trophy, since those are the participation trophies I got as a young'un.
Last, and definitely least, is the Teary Toilet Paper Award. Any game receiving a score from me of 3.0 and lower wins this wonderful award since it's a game that stinks so bad, it can even bring a tear to a roll of toilet paper's eye. Like the name suggests, it's a crying roll of toilet paper.
