Other notes on the show...
- Gene Okerlund hosted an "Update" segment. The focus was on a match that took place in Denver, CO. The Legion of Doom were supposed to defend their WWF World Tag Team titles against the Natural Disasters. However, prior to the match, the Disasters' manager Jimmy Hart contacted Jack Tunney to let him know that one of the members of LOD had been injured in a previous match against the Disasters. He suggested that in the interest of fairness that the LOD instead defend the titles against a different tag team, which wound up being Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster. Jimmy Hart said that the Disasters approved of the match change because they only wanted to face the Legion of Doom when LOD was at 100%. The result was DiBiase and IRS winning the titles. The Natural Disasters dumped Jimmy Hart as their manager, saying that they never gave approval to the switch. Jack Tunney was unable to switch the referee's decision, but he was able to schedule the first title defense for DiBiase & IRS, which would be at WrestleMania VIII against the Natural Disasters. The announcement was followed by a promo from Ted DiBiase, IRS, & Jimmy Hart, where DiBiase called the team Money Inc.

- Paul Bearer hosted the Funeral Parlor with Jake Roberts has his guest. The recapped the Roberts/Savage feud, including their Saturday Night's Main Event match and aftermath, where the Undertaker prevented Roberts from hitting Savage and/or Elizabeth with a chair backstage. Roberts eventually grabbed the urn from Paul Bearer, then dropped it inside a casket on the set. When the Undertaker grabbed it, Roberts slammed Taker's hand in the casket and locked it shut. With Taker unable to move, Roberts DDTed Paul Bearer, then grabbed a chair and hit the Undertaker three times with it. Roberts grabbed the mic and began to talk, but saw Taker moving, so he hit him with the chair two more times and punched him in the ribcage repeatedly. Roberts started to talk again, and again the Undertaker began to move. Roberts hit him once more with the chair, kicked him in the stomach, and punched him in the face, but Taker, dragging the caskter behind him, kept walking towards Roberts. Roberts used the chair three more times, unloaded with several more punches, then hit Taker another two times with the chair, and landed one more punch to the gut...but Taker kept stalking Roberts, dragging the casket behind him. Roberts did one last flurry of punches before officials ran out to pull Roberts away.
