WWF World Heavyweight champion the Iron Sheik battled Tito Santana to a double-disqualification in 0:10:54 after after the Iron Sheik shoved referee Danny davis down when Davis stood on the chair that Sheik brought into the ring, Santana grabbed the chair to use against the Sheik, and Davis jumped up and grabbed it. The Sheik hit Santana from behind, which resulted in Santana pushing the chair into Davis, kncoking him down again.

WWF Intercontinental champion Magnificent Muraco beat Salvatore Bellomo by pinfall in 0:10:04 after a sunset flip.

Schultz then refused to enter the ring, eventually hitting Slaughter, whothen exited the ring and brawled with Schultz at ringside.After the match, both Andre the Giant and Jimmy Snuka extended their hands to Sgt. Slaughter, and Slaughter shook both hands to the cheers of the crowd.
